Restless Legs Syndrome ("RLS") can be defined as crawly and creepy sensations in the limbs,
generally in the legs but sometimes in the arms and trunk. The following characteristics or
features define this sensation.
** Generally are more severe in the evening; ** Experenced during periods
of inactivity; ** There is an overwhelming urge to move the limb; ** Often
cause difficulty staying or falling asleep, which lead to feelings of daytime tiredness or
fatigue; ** May cause involuntarily jerking of the limbs during sleep and sometimes
during wakefulness.
Studies show that deficiencies of the minerals calcium, magnesium or iron could lead
